Whole Wheat Bread Masala Snack Recipe

The refreshing aroma and cheery taste of coriander dominates this whole wheat masala bread rolls which tastes best when had immediately after baking. A wholesome, lightly spiced snack made with Super Atta Bread - quick to assemble and perfect for breakfast, tiffin or evening tea.
Ingredients 11 items
- 5 slices Super Atta Bread (cut into cubes)
- 1/2 cup low-fat curd (dahi)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 slit green chilli
- 3 to 4 curry leaves (kadi patta)
- 1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
- 1/4 cup sliced onions
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander to garnish
Instructions 7 steps
- Cut the Super Atta Bread slices into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk the curd with turmeric and salt. Add the bread cubes and gently coat.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add curry leaves, slit green chilli and grated ginger. Saute for 30 seconds.
- Add sliced onions and saute till they turn translucent.
- Add the curd-coated bread cubes. Toss gently on medium-low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Adjust salt. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with chai.
