Whole Wheat Bread Masala Snack Recipe


The refreshing aroma and cheery taste of coriander dominates this whole wheat masala bread rolls which tastes best when had immediately after baking. We suggest having just one bread roll, occasionally for diabetics. Notes on eggless healthy whole wheat bread rolls. 1.


  • 5 slices Whole Wheat bread, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup low fat curds(dahi)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds(jeera)
  • 1 slit green chili
  • 3 to 4 curry leaves(kadi patta)
  • 1 tsp granted ginger(adrak)
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions
  • 2 tsp oil
  • salt to taste


  1. firstly, spread butter on 2 slices of bread.
  2. also spread green chutney on both the slices of bread.
  3. further spread prepared aloo masala on both the slice.
  4. now place tomato slices and sprinkle chaat masala.
  5. also place beetroot slice, onion slice, capsicums slice, cucumber slice.
  6. sprinkle chaat masala and then cover with the other bread slice.
  7. to prepare a cheese masala toast sandwich, top with grated cheese and then cover with bread slice.
  8. Switch off the gas and spread the Bhaji (potato mixture) on a plate.
  9. spread butter as required and grill golden.
  10. now cut the sandwich into 4 pieces and spread butter and green chutney.
  11. also, top with sev before serving.
  12. finally, enjoy Mumbai masala toast sandwich with cutting chai.
