“Super Bakers (India)” is one of the largest manufacturers of bread with the brand name ‘Super Bread’ and is located in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. The establishment of the company was in1978 by the visionary Shri Shankarlal T. Ahuja and the other two partners Shri Sunil Ahuja and Shri Anil Ahuja. The company is popularly known as ‘Super Bread’. `Super' has become synonyms of `Bread' in Ahmedabad.

Mr. Anil S. Ahuja looks into the day-to-day affairs & administration of the company. He is well assisted by His son Mr. Mann Ahuja and Mr. Neel Ahuja qualified employees at Ahmedabad. The business activities of the Group are spread over Ahmedabad city, north Gujarat, some of the cities of Gujarat, and some of the area of Rajasthan as well.

The Company is also the license holder of Modern Food Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. i.e. franchise of ‘Modern Bread’ for manufacturing & marketing in Gujarat & some of the area of Rajasthan.

BAKERY OF THE YEAR

1991 - 2022

In 1991 the plant was fully automated with computerized control for the uniform baking process.At present, the capacity of the unit is 100 times the capacity the unit had in 1978.

National Productivity Council, New Delhi by conferring `National Productivity Award - 1994-95’ and ‘1995-96’ in Consumer Edible Product in Food Processing Industry Sector.

QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY


Way back in 1978 we realized the bright prospect in the Food Industry and after enormous experience in this sector, Shri Shankarlal T. Ahuja put up a Bread factory in Ahmedabad with the name `Super Bakers’ (India). The factory had all manual operations at that time. Over a period of time, the unit grew very fast and we felt the need for advanced technology in the process. With this vision, we started atomizing each and every activity of production. With a view to modernizing the process, high tech ultra-modern equipment was introduced for better and hygienically processed and baked bread


SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY


Over and above the quantitative and qualitative features of Super Bakers (India), The unit is always keen to fulfill it’s objective of corporate social responsibility. There have been many incidents of supplying Bread in flood-affected areas and free distribution in hospitals sometimes and even during the lockdown.

Super Bakers (India) has always kept up it’s quality standard to meet the requirements of consumers. Many Bread manufacturing units have been entered the market, but Super Bakers (India) has always kept it’s supremacy over the other units in the Industry. As all persons connected with Super Bakers (India) such as employees, suppliers, distributors, retail counters, consumers, transport agencies are satisfied with the quality and services.

JOB CREATION AND HRD


All the activities for developing Human Resource are being looked after by the Managing Partner Mr. Shankar T. Ahuja who takes all care for the development of employees at all levels. Currently, there are around 100 employees earning livelihood for their families from Super Bakers (India), Ahmedabad. The Unit has created numerous job opportunities for skilled as well as unskilled laborers. The distribution channel has also provided opportunities to approximately 100 persons to work in the sales department.


MARKETING TECHNIQUES


Super Bakers (India) has adopted the practice of appointing distributors and has developed wide distribution channels. There are approximately 100+ Distributors appointed by Super Bakers (India) and there are approximately 5,000 retail outlets selling the `Super' Brand of Bread and has always supported retail outlets with various offers, incentives, and facilities.

So far as the Market Share is concerned Super Bakers (India) has a share of 50 % in and around Ahmedabad. The distribution channel is so efficient and the system has been designed so systematically that all retail counters get fresh Bread every day in the morning to meet the needs of Consumers.
